okay, what joy there is to be had in this episode is nearly eclipsed by the terribly cheesy solo-guitar-string-plucking atmospheric music in the background of emotional scenes. THIS IS NOT A ROMANTIC COMEDY ON THE GREEK SHORE.
Also, Merlin, purple shirt? Really? Why don't we just make your scarf pink? Blue was your color, it brought out your eyes!
Gwen's dress in the scene with Arthur: not period. I'm quite sure there is a machine-sewn seam with gathering around the chest parts. WRONG.
